Tanqueray strongly believes in giving back to the community, and is engaged in a number of community groups. She is currently a Board member of Crisis Assistance Ministries, and is a past Board member of Sustain Charlotte, Charlotte’s United States Green Building Council and Habitat for Humanity.
Tanqueray attended South Carolina State University, graduating cum laude with a B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology. She also earned a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. Following undergraduate school, Tanqueray worked a in multiple roles within the Industrial, Commercial and Residential Construction industries. In 2009, she founded TR Edwards Construction, LLC focusing on sustainable practices and education. She also holds several professional certifications and credentials.
Tanqueray is also the mother of three beautiful daughters and is married to her best friend, Paris. She also is a very proud parent to three wonderful dogs; Delilah, Abigail and Mr. Wrigley.
